4 मध्यम आकार के सेब, छीलकर और कसा हुआ
2 बड़े चम्मच घी (मक्खन)
1 कप दूध
1/2 कप चीनी
1/4 छोटा चम्मच इलायची पाउडर
1 बड़ा चम्मच कटे हुए बादाम और काजू
एक चुटकी केसर के धागे (वैकल्पिक)
Instructions:
Heat a pan and add ghee to it. Once the ghee melts, add the grated apples to the pan and sauté for 2-3 minutes on medium heat.
Add milk to the pan and mix well. Cook the mixture on medium-low heat until the milk is absorbed by the apples, stirring occasionally.

Once the milk is absorbed, add sugar to the pan and mix well. Cook for another 5-6 minutes or until the halwa thickens and starts leaving the sides of the pan.
Add cardamom powder and mix well.
Lastly, add chopped almonds and cashews to the pan and mix well.
Turn off the heat and let the halwa cool down for a few minutes.
Garnish with saffron strands (optional).
Serve the warm apple halwa as a dessert or snack.
