Instructions:
Rinse the rice in cold water until the water runs clear. Soak the rice in water for 20 minutes.
In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to boil. Drain the rice and add it to the boiling water. Cook the rice on low heat until all the water is absorbed and the rice is cooked. Fluff the rice with a fork and set it aside.
In a pan, heat oil over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
Add chopped onions and green chili and sauté until the onions turn translucent.
Add chopped capsicum and sauté for 2-3 minutes until the capsicum is slightly cooked.

Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
Add coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, and salt. Mix well and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
